Zach Moonshine, of Metal Devastation Radio and Metal Devastation PR and his wife Raven, wondered how they could bring their love of metal music to a small town in Tennessee, an area that had mixed emotions about such an idea. The realization of their vision of a metal music festival nestled on a lake in a small country town, was born. And Lexington, TN will never be the same.
Almost a year in planning, Zach and Raven meticulously took on all that was involved in putting this type of event on, hand-picking 13 bands from different states, hiring top-notch technicians for lighting, sound and managing the stage, to procuring vendors, sponsors and working with the local police to ensure this festival would be organized in a safe and fun environment. However, there were obstacles in the form of people fearing the stigma that follows heavy metal musicians and a "Satanic Panic" ensued, prompting Zach and Raven to dispel rumors of decadent, evil mayhem and simply ask for a chance to have a music festival that all could enjoy. After radio and television interviews and much press surrounding the negativity, the festival went on with no incidents. In fact, it was so well received, there will be more festivals in the coming years!
The festival lineup showcased the following bands:

D3vil B3 My Judg3
